Orientation
The Nursing Degree Program is part of the University's Health Professions program. Interested students can participate in the Orientation Days organized by Vanvitelli "V: Orienta."
Incoming Orientation
For years, the Nursing Degree Program has organized and participated in various incoming orientation events aimed at guiding prospective students toward an informed choice of their academic and professional career. During these events, the Degree Program's curriculum is presented in detail, and prospective students can ask the guidance staff any questions they may have.
2025/2026 Academic Year
For 2026, the Vanvitelli Orienta event, during which the Degree Programs will be presented, students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, and inquire about key exams, career opportunities, grants, scholarships, and more, will be held at the Caserta Science Center on April 16 and 17, 2026.
Course Overview
The degree course in Nursing aims to train health professionals able to analyze, plan and manage any care path, and able to interact with the other members of the health team. The use of the English and the study of Italian to promote a process of cultural integration in the territory, represents an important way of communication with a foreign population resident in the Campania Region that increasingly asks for access to university in order to improve their quality of life.
The course is divided into three years and is composed of a didactic part, in which the student learns the main pathologies and how to provide health care and of a practical internship activity, with increasing degrees of involvement and complexity, which prepares the student to manage any welfare problem concerning the individual or the community. The sanitary approach to a diverse linguistic community is enhanced by the study of the Italian langauage through the Degree's 1st and the 2nd Year.
Job opportunities:
With nursing degree it’s possible to be employed in any public or private health facility with the professional profile of nurse. It is also possible to continue studies with the achievement of a master's degree with the acquisition of a higher level of competence. It’s also possible to participate in the admission tests for training courses for secondary education, or to practice the profession independently. The study of the Italian language also gives the students the possibility to continue their education in Italy and to pursue a career in the Italian healthcare sector.
